Katy Perry and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, joined fellow A-list stars at Ellen DeGeneres’ comedy show at Largo in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
The “Teenage Dream” hitmaker, 39, who recently set Instagram ablaze, arrived in a revealing gray zip-up bodysuit showcasing her red brɑ. She paired the daring one-piece with baggy green cargo pants sitting low on her hips.
Hinting at a new musical era, Perry wore her black hair flowing from under a bright orange backwards cap featuring her new Y2K-inspired logo. She carried a gray bоmber jacket, her iPhone, and a Diesel purse in one hand as she and Bloom exited the comedy club. Perry accessorized with a silver chainlink choker necklace, lock and key earrings, and a black leather watch. Her makeup included a cherry red lip, shimmery bronze eyeshadow, and drɑmɑtic fake lashes.
Leading the way, Bloom followed closely behind. The “Lord of the Rings” star, 47, kept a low profile with a black UNICEF hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and khaki cargo pants, holding onto Perry’s arm as they navigated past fans and photographers.
Ellen’s stand-up gig was a star-studded affair, attended by Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Kris Jenner. The comedian’s new set comes two years after allegations of a ‘tоxic’ workplace environment on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” ended her daytime TV run.
Earlier that day, Perry teased her next musical phase on Instagram, posting glamour shots in a sheer crop top and tiny shorts, posed atop a green plastic crate. Sporting a Y2K-inspired look and a slimmer frame, she showcased her toned abs and legs, accessorized with key earrings, and captioned the post, ‘feelin crate hbu.’
Speculation about new music intensified after Perry updated her social media profile icons, Spotify page, and website with her initials ‘KP’ in a sleek silver font on a red background. Her fanbase, the KatyCats, eagerly anticipate a musical comeback, which some believe could be as significant as Mariah Carey’s “The Emancipation of Mimi.”
In April, Perry’s fans campaigned on X (formerly Twitter) under #JUSTICEFORKATYPERRY, pushing her 2017 album “Witness” to the top of iTunes charts in several countries. Perry, who ended her two-year Las Vegas residency in November, is reportedly finalizing her “most personal album ever” and planning a worldwide tour for late 2024.
